Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that lets you bring guns into the course of. Some players use this to achieve certain goals and targets, particularly those who want to go for Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to close gaps. It's important to remember that to choose the pistols for this slot you must click on the button for the appropriate category like machine guns in the alternate slot. Having Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much easier to do. This combo can also trigger damage from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as you have it placed in.
Smuggled Item Slot
The smuggled items slot is an excellent feature that allows players to bring tools and weapons into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently shaped as an a gun, which makes it difficult to distinguish the weapon slot that is smuggled from other gear slots.
The smuggle slots are used to store a range of items ranging from concussion devices and weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. Rain Bet are secretly stored in inconspicuous places around the map and are able to be retrieved at any time. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.
Mission planning is an option available in the form of episodic missions. It lets players unlock various starting locations, smuggled objects and gear slots prior to entering the map. These options for planning expand as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to design the perfect mission for every difficulty.
Gear Slot
In the beginning of the game, players will notice that their gear slots rapidly become full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message which prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are cleared or a larger space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenge missions. Because many of these challenges are not completed and are scattered across the globe, it might take a while to reach the most inventory slots available in the game.
The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to five different types of gear. These must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades that are of the same type) only uses one Gear Slot.
Pickups by agencies
As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations allow you to store items that do not fit into your slot for gear or weapon and retrieve them later.
These pickups can be very useful if your mission requires you to pass through a frisk, or if you have a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. You can only hide only one item at a pick-up location.
This DLC adds new contracts to security and asset protection to the agency. To begin these missions simply contact the receptionist of the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you've reached the marker be sure to identify a group upon arrival.
